How To Delete extra maps and how to manually install them
To install/delete maps manually without the Worldbuilder browse option.
A. Start, All Programs, Accessories, Then click on Windows Explorer. After that just simply go to the “My Computer” area click on the hard-disk drive (C:), the drive that the Red Alert 3 game is installed.
B. Now just click on the “Documents and Settings” option and from there click on the Windows user profile name that your game was installed in.
C. Now once that is done just simply click on “Application Data” this is the area where you will see the Red Alert 3 main folder… this is where your Map folder is… so click on the Red Alert 3 folder you will be able to click on the Maps folder and simply delete and add maps at will.. This is the same area in the browse option settings in the world builder,,, but you don’t need to use that browse option you can just get to your maps manually by just using these steps provided here.
D. Simply right click on the a map folder that you do not want in your map archive any longer, the map folder that is inside of the Red Alert 3 “Maps” main folder and you will be able to see the delete option. Do not delete the primary Red Alert 3’s “Maps” main subfolder!!
E. To add maps remember to open the PFTO map folder and open the folder that the maps are in, Then just highlight all the maps at the same time and right click on them and select copy, This way you can paste them into the Red Alert 3 “Maps” folder...
F. These steps should work fine with Windows Vista users to, just look for similar names for steps ----- (A through E).
